WORLD SPACE WEEK

PROJECT ACTIVITIES > PRESENT
World Space Week is marked annually between October 4 and 10, and is an excellent opportunity for organizations around the world to come together, inspire and stimulate interest in space, space science and education.

World Space Week is a UN-sponsored space celebration in which events are organized by thousands of organizations, including space agencies, aerospace companies, astronomy clubs and museums.

The 2021 edition of World Space Week (WSW) is based on the theme "Women in space", the theme being in line with the objectives of the Erasmus + project "Past, present, future- it is all in the sky", with no. reference 2020-1-PL01-KA229-082143_2.

World Space Week 2021 celebrated the achievements and contributions of women in the space and science sectors, giving the next generation the opportunity to present female models from around the world. Our school students did research on the internet about the incredible impact women have had on the space and science sector and celebrated some of the many amazing women who were part of our journey to the stars. The research carried out by the students resulted in the realization of an exhibition in the school hall.
The activity was coordinated at the level of the institution by prof. Aristotel DoiniČ›a and prof. Tudorache Maria.
